Cesar Romero is a Branch Manager with Alterra Home Loans and the 2025 Midwest Chair for the NAHREP Corporate Board of Governors.

Recognized as one of the Top 100 in the Midwest, Cesar entered the mortgage industry in 2010 after witnessing how the financial crisis left underserved communities with limited resources.

Born in Mexico and raised on the Southeast Side of Chicago, Cesar is deeply committed to both NAHREP's and Alterra's mission of dismantling barriers and creating equitable pathways to wealth-building through homeownership. His work continues to champion and uplift the communities he proudly serves.
